Our Mission |
To improve the living conditions of local communities in Africa through better health
care and education. Working hand in hand, we can make Africa a better place to live. |
|
Our History |
Africa’s challenges are numerous and complex, but there is also much potential and
opportunity for growth and development throughout the continent. Investing in people
is perhaps the single most important factor in sustainable development.
Alodo Alome was founded and incorporated in August of 2004 in North Carolina to
help address these needs. Alodo Alome is a charitable institution under Section 501
(c) (3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
Its mission is to serve as an empowering catalyst for sustainable development in Africa
by responding to the needs of local communities in the areas of education and health
care. This mission is being achieved with the generous support of donors from around
the globe. Alodo Alome enables the partnership between these philanthropists and
African communities through programs designed to meet health care needs, provide
clean water and support basic education initiatives in Africa. Targeting these priority
intervention areas ensures the most direct and positive impact on the lives of local
populations in Africa. |
